Act On It

 Act On It

This month (11 – 17 August) is National Bullying Prevention Week - our week of action to stop bullying.

This year’s theme is Act On It! We're calling on all Australians to step up and take safe, confident action when bullying happens - in the moment. Because ending bullying starts with action.

We’re shining a spotlight on courage - transforming bystanders into upstanders.

Or, as we call them, Actionists.

Our latest research reveals seven in ten (71%) Australians have experienced bullying - and nearly one in three (31%) have been bullied in the past year. Alarmingly, 27% of Australians say it’s occurred in the workplace.

Among working Australians:

  • 23% are unaware of any bullying prevention policy at their workplace

  • 25% say policies exist but aren’t enforced

  • Only 42% report working somewhere that actively enforces a bullying policy

You can be an Actionist by simply raising this with your workplace and becoming a catalyst for change.

Explore the options below and take the next step towards creating a workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
